A new animal is what the doctor ordered! Quinta Brunson will be joining Zootopia 2!

Disney took the stage a few days ago at Cinemacon to release exclusive footage and first looks for several upcoming films. One furry film stood out!

Zootopia 2 will be the sequel to hit animated film Zootopia which first landed in theaters in March 2016. Zootopia was set in the city of Zootopia, a mammal metropolis where various animals live and thrive. When Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) becomes the first rabbit to join the police force, she quickly learns how tough it is to enforce the law. Determined to prove herself, Judy jumps at the opportunity to solve a mysterious case. Unfortunately, that means working with Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman), a wily fox who makes her job even harder.

Zootopia 2 will have several new characters, one of the most notable new additions to Zootopia 2 will be a Quokka animal therapist named Dr. Fuzzby voiced by Quinta Brunson. Another key addition to the talented cast will be a snake named Gary voiced by Ke Huy Quan.

Zootopia 2 is set to scamper into theaters, November 2026!
