ACCLAIMED COMEDY SERIES “ANIMAL CONTROL” STARRING JOEL McHALE IS BACK FOR MORE MAYHEM.
This wilder than life comedy series will premiere tonight, Sunday December 28 at 8/7c on Fox, earlier than the originally planned January 15th return.
Animal Control season 4 will unleash another pawsome season, where the workplace is anything but ordinary. Created by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg and Dan Sterling, with Tad Quill serving as showrunner, Animal Control follows a group of local Animal Control workers whose lives are complicated by the fact that animals are simple, but humans are not.
Joel McHale stars as Frank Shaw, an opinionated, eccentric Animal Control officer who may not have gone to college but is still the most well-read person in the room. A former cop, Frank tried to expose corruption in his department, but his efforts got him fired, which may explain why he’s so cynical and curmudgeonly. He has an almost superhuman ability to understand animals. Humans...not so much.
In addition to McHale, Animal Control stars Michael Rowland as Fred “Shred” Taylor, Vella Lovell as Emily Price, Ravi Patel as Amit Patel, and Grace Palmer as Victoria Sands, Gerry Dee as Templeton Dudge and Kyla Pratt as Daisy.
This season guest stars include Rob Gronkowski as himself and the return of Ken Jeong as expert (and unhinged) dog trainer Roman Park.
In the season 4 premiere, tensions erupt when the two rival animal control precincts are forced to merge due to budget cuts; Frank and Templeton clash during a bear cub rescue as they fight for control; Emily and Shred try to hide their romance from the team.
The Animal Control season 4 premiere is a hilariously enthralling new episode. Season 4, episode 1 is so fittingly titled “Bear Cubs and Broncos”, it airs at 8/7c, following double header games in the NFL.
The season premiere episode is filled with wild and wacky drama. Kyla Pratt provides the perfect comedic tone and timing as Daisy, adding to the already funny dialogue and contentious scenes between merging precincts. McHale, yet again…4 seasons in is a star as Frank Shaw! Funny, cynical, and even more grumpy, audiences will love riding along with the cast this new season on Fox.
