British War Thriller "Rogue Heroes" takes off in US premiere.
From Steven Knight, the creator behind Peaky Blinders, this war drama premiered on BBC One in January 2025. The second season became available on MGM+ in the US on January 12, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET.
Adapted from Ben Macintyre's best-selling book, this thrilling series offers a dramatized account about the formation of the SAS, the Special Air Service, during World War II. Specifically, the series follows David Stirling, a young officer who creates a plan to recruit a small undercover unit.
Rogue Heroes stars Connor Swindells (David Stirling) and Jack O’Connell (Paddy Mayne), Bobby Schofield (Dave Kershaw), Dominic West (Dudley Clark), Corin Silva (Jim Almonds), Jacob McCarthy (Johnny Cooper), Theo Barklem-Biggs (Reg Seekings), Jacob Ifam (Pat Riley) and Stuart Campbell (Bill Fraser) as returning regulars.
New cast members will also be joining the crew, including Con O’Neill (Bernard Montgomery), Mark Rowley (Jock McDiarmid), Jack Barton (John Tonkin) and Gwilym Lee (Bill Stirling).
Season 2 takes place in spring 1943, after the capture of David Stirling and sees a shift in territory and setting from season 1.
