Crime drama "Walker" patrols one last time as the series comes to the end of the road.

Walker premiered on January 21, 2021 with 18 episodes. Walker is an American action crime drama television series developed by Anna Fricke for The CW. This reboot of the 1990s western drama television series Walker, Texas Ranger. The series follows Cordell Walker (played by Jared Padalecki), a man finding his way back to his family while investigating crime in the state's most elite unit. Our broken widower and father of two returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years for a high profile case—only to discover that there's even more work to be done at home.
The fourth and final season of Walker premiered on April 3, 2024 with 13 episodes releasing weekly on Wednesdays up until the finale tonight on June 26, 2024 at 8:00pm ET/PT on The CW.
The series finale is titled “See You Sometime”. In the finale, Walker (Padalecki) tries to make up for lost time and wants to be what Geri (Odette Annable) deserves. Cassie (Ashley Reyes) and Trey (Jeff Pierre) have their final interviews for the lieutenant position. Captain James (Coby Bell) advises Cassie and Trey. Stella (Violet Brinson) discusses with Liam (Keegan Allen) what she may want for her future. Bonham (Mitch Pileggi) and Abby (Molly Hagan) have an important conversation, and August’s (Kale Culley) graduation brings everyone together to celebrate.
The finale episode is somewhat emotionally driven and heavy in dialogue. A lot of important conversations really make this series finale pull at the heartstrings for viewers. Various characters come to terms with accepting their mistakes with genuine ownership and accountability. For many of Walkers most beloved characters, change and new paths are inevitable. With all of the emotional scenes and expressions of feelings throughout the episode, the audience is still treated to outlying plots that involve the law. Walker has always done well with being able to mix drama and crime into the fabric of the show, and four seasons in, this episode did not dissapoint.
This finale is also filled with surprises that allow the episode to flow well and keep viewers engaged from the opening act all the way until the end.
