Dream Productions produces sleep time comedy and chaos in premiere on Disney +.
Written and directed by Mike Jones and produced by Jaclyn Simon, Pixar Animation Studios' hilarious, mockumentary-style series debuts on Disney+ on December 11, 2024.
Dream Productions is set in the studio where dreams are made for lead character Riley from the Inside Out movies. In Inside Out, Paula Pell voices the character Paula Persimmon, the Dream Director inside of the Riley’s dreams. Pell is set to reprise her role, but this time she will star as the main protagonist in this series. Dream Productions follows Paula Persimmon who teams with Xeni (Richard Ayoade) to create the next big tween-dream. Every night, Paula faces a nightmare of her own, her signature combination of dreams isn’t working any more and she doesn’t know what went wrong or why.
Dream Productions features the voices of Paula Pell, Richard Ayoade, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, and Phyllis Smith. The series is set between the two Inside Out movies (Part 1 and 2). Pixar chief creative officer and Inside Out director Pete Docter said the series would explore "the power of dreams and how they affect us in our waking life"
