"Finding Your Roots" season finale journey's with 2 Hollywood Vets into the past on PBS.

The season finale of Finding Your Roots premieres today, Tuesday April 8, 2025 on PBS AT 8:00PM ET.

The 10th episode titled, “Finding MY Roots” is the finale for the 11th season of the series. This episode will use DNA to help solve family mysteries for actor Laurence Fishburne and scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr.

For more than a decade, renowned Harvard scholar Henry Louis Gates, Jr. has helped to expand America’s sense of itself, stimulating a national conversation about identity with humor, wisdom, and compassion. Professor Gates has explored the ancestry of dozens of influential people from diverse backgrounds, taking millions of viewers deep into the past to reveal the connections that bind us all.

Join in tonight as they take a look into Gates’ past as well as Hollywood veteran actor Laurence Fishburne to discover and uncover new and unpredictable elements to their families past.
