Former Disney+ Original Series “Nautilus” To Premiere On Prime Video In The UK October 25, 2024!
Based on Jules Verne’s beloved Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Nautilus tells the origin story of Captain Nemo: an Indian Prince robbed of his birthright and family, joining him as he steals a formidable prototype submarine and escapes into the Indian Ocean with a crew, determined to enact revenge against the ruthless East India Mercantile Company.
Navigating rocky waters to say the least, the series was originally with Disney+ before switching to AMC and Prime Video in the UK/Ireland and Stan in Australia.
It will finally see its streaming debut in the UK/Ireland with Prime Video on October 25th after being available in Sweden earlier this year.
Nautilus stars Shazad Latif, Georgia Flood, Thierry Fremont and Céline Menville, with guest appearances from Richard E Grant, Anna Torv and Noah Taylor. It’s developed and produced by Moonriver TV’s Xavier Marchand and Seven Stories’ Anand Tucker, is written and executive produced by James Dormer and is executive produced by Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock and Daisy Gilbert. Cameron Welsh serves as producer and Michael Matthews is the lead director of this epic adventure series.

This series is an intriguing and riveting tale. It’s as if Pirates Of The Caribbean crossed over with The Wheel Of Time and Outlander. The series is thrilling, action based, and an exhilarating adventure at sea. The cinematography is stunning as well as the choreography and fx effects in fighting and battle sequences. As the characters embark on dangerous journeys, the storyline is entertaining and often fast paced which allows viewers to stay glued to their seats.
Nautilus series will be available on Prime Video in the UK nad Ireland starting on October 25, 2024!
