“Ginny & Georgia” Season 3 Recap and What Season 4 Has in Store: Drama, Drama, and More Drama!
Georgia (Brianne Howey) and Ginny (Antonia Gentry), along with the rest of Wellsbury's finest are back! Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia released all episodes on Netflix June 5.
If you’re looking for a soapy drama about a beautiful, whip-smart single mom and her slightly exhausting teenage daughter, Ginny & Georgia is here to deliver again. Netflix’s guilty pleasure just dropped its third season, packed full of murder, courtroom chaos, messy family drama, and more awkward teen moments than you can shake a stick at. Think Gilmore Girlsgot a dark, criminal twist and a splash of Narcos because apparently, American audiences love their small-town secrets with a side of murder.
Season 3: Courtrooms, Lies, and Enough Drama to Fill a Soap Opera Marathon
Right off the bat, season three wastes zero time diving into the mess left by season two’s cliffhanger. Georgia (Brianne Howey), the Southern belle with a seriously complicated past, is in hot water again for killing a terminally ill man in what she calls a “mercy killing.” The town of Wellsbury and the police aren’t exactly buying it. Cue the courtroom drama and media frenzy that would make any daytime talk show proud.
Georgia’s kids play their part in this circus too, but not exactly in an adorable way. Ginny (Antonia Gentry), who might just be the most irritating teenager on TV right now (and yes, that includes all of And Just Like That), convinces her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) to lie on the stand to save mom from prison. Risky move, but hey, it works. Georgia walks free, but spoiler alert nothing is ever simple in this family.
Meanwhile, Marcus (Felix Mallard) is on a very public downward spiral, landing himself in rehab. Max (Sara Waisglass) is stuck trying to hold everyone’s emotional baggage without losing her own mind. It’s heavy stuff wrapped in teen angst and family drama, but hey, it’s Netflix so expect plenty of snogging, screaming, and more secrets than you can keep track of.
And just when you think the drama’s done, bam Georgia drops a pregnancy bombshell. With two potential baby daddies in the mix, season four already sounds like a full-blown soap opera goldmine.
Oh, and remember that creepy phone call Georgia got from her dad in prison? Plus, her mom and stepdad cruising past her house at the end of season three? Let’s just say Wellsbury might soon be dealing with some very unwelcome visitors.
At arts core, this series is a shiny, binge-worthy mess filled with murder, lies, and enough mommy drama to keep you hooked. It’s the kind of show you know isn’t “good” television but can’t help watching anyway and honestly, that’s part of the charm.
Season 4: Buckle Up, Because It’s About to Get Even Messier
Good news for all you fans Netflix already gave Ginny & Georgia the green light for season four. The writers have been cooking up more chaos behind the scenes, and if their early hints are anything to go by, season four is going to be a wild ride.
Showrunner Sarah Glinski is taking the reins and promises the next season will dig deep into “cycles and origins,” which basically means we’re going back into Georgia’s messy past and it’s going to affect everyone. No one in the Miller family will be the same after season four, so say goodbye to any hopes of normalcy.
Of course, the biggest question on everyone’s lips is who’s the baby daddy? While the writers have locked down the answer, they’re keeping it under wraps perfect for building that delicious suspense. Meanwhile, Austin’s storyline looks like it could take a darker turn, with his questionable decision to frame their dad already causing plenty of trouble.
This entertaining drama was renewed for Season 4 at the same time it was picked up for Season 3. With season four on the horizon, full of secrets, scandals, and enough plot twists to make your head spin, the town of Wellsbury isn’t calming down anytime soon. In the meantime, why not binge all three seasons and get ready for whatever chaotic nonsense the Millers throw our way next?
