The series follows Lou and Henry, an oddball sister and brother detective team in a small Pacific Northwest police force. Throw in a town full of colorful residents, a serious lack of resources, and their very complicated dynamic with each other and their police chief, Big Hank….who happens to be their father and you have one compelling and hilarious crime dramedy series.
Good Cop/Bad Cop premieres February 19, 2025 on The CW (9:00 PM ET) in the US and on February 20, 2025 on Stan in Australia. Episodes will debut weekly, respectively.
With a mix of action, comedy, family drama, crime and romance, this multi-genre series provides entertainment for fans of all kind of genres.
The series stars Leighton Meester, Luke Cook, and Clancy Brown.
Good Cop/Bad Cop boast an estranged sister-and-brother team, who through unforeseen circumstances, are forced to work together to protect their community and solve crimes. However, their relationship with their boss, who is also their dad is the most tricky of their family dynamics to say the least.
Along with comedy, the show provides intriguing and twisty romance along with dicey family moments that will move audiences and bring on a ton of emotions. Early on in the season the strained father-son relationship between Henry and Big Hank provides an engaging, emotional, and satisfying backdrop in lieu of the crime solving and police department being in disarray.
Meanwhile, the action and crime is never ending in this town and this quirky, disagreeable, and tumultuous family is on the job and eager to protect and serve…well… at least 1 of them is for certain.
