“Goosebumps” novels, created by author R.L. Stine were huge hits for teens interested in spooky tales and youthful horror stories during the 1990’s. Since then, movies, other books, games, comics and shows have been based on or utilized tales from the novels and incorporated them into more forms of media. This season follows twins Cece and Devin Brewer as they arrive to spend the summer in Gravesend, Brooklyn, with their divorced dad, Anthony. There they soon learn that there are dark secrets around them. Alongside their friends Alex, CJ, and Frankie, they’ll find themselves entangled in a mystery involving four teenagers who vanished in 1994.
Goosebumps: The Vanishing premieres on January 10, 2025, Disney+ & Hulu.
This series is both eerie and exhilarating. Audiences will watch Devin and Cece adapt to life with their dad and begin to realize that everything isnt what it seems. Mysteries and secrets from long ago cause some ghoulish and haunted events to unfold for the Brewer siblings.
Frightful and fun for adults plus filled with nostalgia for original fans, this season is one to watch! The writers found a way to also keep the show entertaining and modern for teens as well as for newcomers too. As the twins race against time to keep dark and creepy beings and events at bay, audiences will be taken on a thrilling and chilling ride throughout the entire series.
