"Harlem" on Prime Video continues to be impactful and satisfying in its final season.
The hit romantic dramedy is in the midst of its final season on Prime Video, the series is nearing it’s final curtain call which will bring a close to the story of the show's band of young 20-something year old girlfriends living in New York City. While season 1 and 2 saw these ladies go through many ups, downs, trials, and hardships, season 3 takes on a similar yet more mature and hopeful tone as the series heads toward its finale few episodes. This highly anticipated season has been a hit with viewers as they have continued to relate to, understand, and identify with the struggles and triumphs that these girls have gone through.
Episodes 1 and 2 of the final season kicked off a week ago today on January 23 on Prime Video (*SPOILERS FOR EP 1-2 ARE BELOW*).
Episode 3 and 4 released today, Thursday January 30 on Prime Video. The series has a two-a-week release plan. With only 6 episodes for the entirety of season 3, the series will conclude with episodes 5 and 6, which will premiere next week on Thursday, February 6.
Out of the 4 friends, the show is still primarily centered on Camille (played by Meagan Good). In first few episodes of season 3, Camille and Ian are in a messy friends-with-benefits situation, but Ian suddenly stops all contact for two months. Camille did not get tenure at Columbia and decided to leave. She convinced others to consider her for tenure but is now set to forge her own path and write a book. Ian (Tyler Lepley), Camille’s longtime on-again and off-again lover is set to have a heavy role this season.
The rest of the girlfriends, Quinn (Grace Byers), Angie (Shoniqua Shandai) and Tye (Jerrie Johnson) are all in a good and hopeful space, solidifying new paths and forging new relationships early in season 3. This show remains entertaining, funny, and emotional as audiences are set to watch these quad of ambitious, young women of color take their final bow.
