Today, HBO released a brand new teaser and announced a premiere date for Season 3 of The Gilded Age. Season 3 of the Julian Fellowes 19th century period drama The Gilded Age will debut at 9 p.m., Sunday, June 22, 2025.
The eight-episode season will air live on HBO and stream on Max. Per Deadline, the show has added three characters who are wealthy Black Newport residents:
Phylicia Rashad will play Mrs. Elizabeth Kirkland, a woman from a prominent family in Newport with ties dating back to the American Revolution.
Brian Stokes Mitchell will play her husband, Frederick Kirkland, a Newport community leader and pastor of a prominent Black church.
Jordan Donica will play Dr. William Kirkland, their son, who became a doctor after a boyhood visit to the pharmacy run by Arthur Scott, father to Peggy Scott, played by series star Denée Benton.
