Lifetime is expanding into faith-based films, find out now!
Big news! Faith, family, and feelings will collide in Lifetimes new faith-based films! Premiering weekly starting July 19, Lifetimes new four-film lineup will center on women who lean on their faith to overcome life-altering obstacles.
The slate kicks off with Faith in the Flames: The Nichole Jolly Story on July 19, 2025. The film stars Chrissy Metz and is based on the true story of a nurse who survived the 2018 Paradise, California fire.
On July 26, Alexa PenaVega stars in Before Your Father Finds Us, a tense drama about a mother protecting her teen daughter from a violent ex.
On August 2, 2025, Kat Graham leads If I Run, a gripping adaptation of Terri Blackstock’s best-selling Christian suspense novel. She plays Casey Cox, a woman framed for her best friend’s murder who goes on the run — relying on her instincts, intelligence, and growing faith to stay alive and uncover the truth.
Paula Patton leads the film Finding Faith, an acquired film making its world broadcast debut on Lifetime after originally releasing in select theaters June 16, 2025. Patton plays Faith Mitchell, a woman whose life is upended after her husband’s sudden death. In her grief, she loses her way — and her belief in God — but with the support of her loved ones, she begins a journey of healing and spiritual restoration. The film also features Stephen Bishop, Loretta Devine, Keith David, Nadine Velazquez, and Demetrius Grosse. This film is set to debut on August 9, 2025. Per release on June 20, Elaine Frontain Bryant, EVP and Head of Programming for Lifetime said, “With these four new films, we’re stepping into the faith-based space in a way that feels authentic, powerful, and deeply emotional. These are stories of healing, hope, and perseverance — and we believe they’ll resonate with anyone who’s ever faced adversity and looked for light in the darkness.”
