Marvel Studios highly anticipated film “Thunderbolts*” zaps into theaters!

Thunderbolts* from Marvel will make it way into theaters in the UK on May 1, 2025 and May 2, 2025 in the US.

In Thunderbolts*, Marvel Studios assembles an unconventional team of antiheroes—Yelena Belova, Bucky Barnes, Red Guardian, Ghost, Taskmaster and John Walker. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, these disillusioned castoffs must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Will this dysfunctional group tear themselves apart, or find redemption and unite as something much more before it’s too late?

According to early reviews, the film is set to be a hit! According to IGN its a solid, moving film, Rotten Tomatoes refers to it as “A breath of Fresh Air for the MCU”, and BBC writer Nicholas Barber dubs the latest movie in the superhero franchise as "scrappy, scruffy-looking, down-to-earth fun", with a "charismatic" Florence Pugh at its center. With the cast leading many top headlines while making rounds on the promo tour within the last few weeks, along with the buzz surrounding soaring presale tickets (numbers according to Dateline), it is safe to say that this film will be zapping into the box office with some force.

The film stars Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Olga Kurylenko, Lewis Pullman, Geraldine Viswanathan, Chris Bauer, Wendell Edward Pierce, with David Harbour, with Hannah John-Kamen, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Jake Schreier directs Thunderbolts* and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek and Jason Tamez serve as executive producers.
