“Mid-Century Modern” delivers a hilariously clever and interesting plot in Hulu debut.
Dramedy sitcom, Mid-Century Modern starring Matt Bomer, Nathan Lane, and Nathan Lee Graham premiered today on Hulu delivering comedy gold!
Funny, friendly, dramatic and GAY! This series is groundbreaking! It follows three gay best friends named Bunny Schneiderman, Jerry Frank, and Arthur Broussard who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years in Palm Springs, where Bunny lives with his mother, Sybil (played by the late Linda Lavin).
As hilarious and filled with calamity and chaos as this series is, it is also sweet, honest, and emotional at times…making this a thoroughly entertaining and relatable sitcom.
Nathan Lane simply shines beyond measure in this series! Lane authentically and effortlessly portrays Bunny, a seasoned, wealthy, gay, single and ready to mingle man living amongst the beautiful palm trees, expensive margaritas, sexy singles, and sunny scene in paradise also known as Palm Springs. Bunny is kind, snarky, fun, and he has lived his life abundantly. Now, he has his best friends, judgmental mother, and nothing but unpredictable and adventurous days ahead.
Each character brings something sassy, funny, unique, and charismatic to this trio of compadres.
