In this twisty adaptation of the #1 New York Times best-selling novel, a young woman named Sophie Honeywell (Teresa Palmer) finds herself drawn into a complex situation when a elderly relative (named Connie) of her ex boyfriend leaves something near and dear to his family to Sophie in her will.

This all-new drama set on Scribbly Gum Island, a place of many secrets. The one that made it famous — the disappearance of a young couple decades ago — might have made the island a destination for true crime tourists, but when it comes to secrets, the three generations of women that call Scribbly Gum home hold far more.

Through an enigmatic letter to Sophie written by Connie before she dies, gives her vague but intriguing information on why she left an entire house to someone who is merely the ex of a relative. The Last Anniversary first debuted in Australia on March 27, 2025, on Binge, with a new episode released weekly. The miniseries premiered in the U.S. on Sunday, March 30, 2025, on AMC+, with new episodes dropping weekly on Sundays.
