The NCIS franchise head back to the Outback for a second season of this action packed crime drama.
In this NCIS spinoff, a team of NCIS agents and the AFP (Australian Federal Police) are grafted into a multinational taskforce to keep naval crimes in check. NCIS: SYDNEY picks up from the Season 1 cliffhanger and premieres on February 7, 2025 at 8:00 pm ET on Network 10 (AUS) and CBS (USA).
The series is the first spin-off for the NCIS franchise that is produced outside the United States, featuring Australian actors and producers.
Season 1 ended with NCIS Special Agent Mackey (Olivia Swann) and Officer Dempsey (Todd Lasance) facing consequences for letting rogue assassin Ana Nimus escape in exchange for Dempsey’s kidnapped 9-year-old son. Audiences also saw Special Agent DeShawn Jackson (Sean Sagar) now having to step up and supervise. Meanwhile the search continues for Nimus, while the agents continue to investigate her connection to Col. Rankin (played by Lewis Fitz-Gerald).
Season 2 throws viewers right back where they left off. Tension is evident and the controversial decision making by Dempsey has the entire head quarters either mind boggled or empathetic.
The series stars:
Olivia Swann as Michelle Mackey, NCIS Special Agent-in-Charge.
Todd Lasance as Jim "JD" Dempsey, Australian Federal Police (AFP) Second-in-Command.
Sean Sagar as DeShawn Jackson, NCIS Special Agent (SA).
Tuuli Narkle as Constable Evie Cooper, AFP Liaison Officer.
Mavournee Hazel as Bluebird "Blue" Gleeson, AFP forensic scientist.
William McInnes as Roy "Rosie" Penrose, AFP forensic pathologist.
Join the team NCIS agents and the Australian Federal Police to come together and keep naval crimes in check in the Indo-Pacific.
