The Max streaming service slasher teen drama, created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring has been teasing the reveal for villain Bloody Rose since the premiere. Viewers have been speculating who the villain could be, why, and who was working with them to target Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa.
Season 2 of Pretty Little Liars: Summer School premiered on May 20, 2024 (first 2 episodes). Each episode (3-8) released weekly on Thursdays up until the finale on June 20, 2024 title “Chapter Eighteen: Final Exam”.
This season class began session following the harrowing events of "Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin”(season 1), which covered teenagers Imogen, Tabby, Faran, Mouse, and Noa in the present day, being tormented by an unknown assailant over a series of tragic events almost ripped Millwood apart almost twenty years ago.
In season 2 our Pretty Little Liars face a fate worse than death - summer school. However, Millwood High isn’t the only thing getting in the way of their fun summer jobs and new, dreamy love interests. A new villain, who may or may not have a connection to past people and more recent events.
The season 2 finale helped to answer a lot of questions. Also, many characters learned more about their past and many deceitful characters were revealed this season. However, while a lot of information was received, there are still a lot of suspicions and speculation surrounding some of the main characters boyfriends as well as some season 2 new comers.
Season 2 starred: Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco return as the next generation of Pretty Little Liars. Each actress passed this series with honors! There are multiple physical and emotionally heavy, action, or fast paced scenes and each character has been portrayed tremendously well on screen.
The series also stars Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Alex Aiono, Jordan Gonzalez, and Elias Kacavas.
The finale was paced very well and filled with chilling, puzzling, and bloody moments that kept viewers glued into to this mysterious drama. The wardrobe department aced the test with the spooky mask and costumes throughout the entire season. The blood and goring moments were also horror A+ level throughout the entire series on Max.
