"Stick" masters dramedy in new series from Apple TV+.
Owen Wilson is perfectly casted in this sports centric comedy that premieres today.
Stick is a new sports comedy series created by Jason Keller and starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson. Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and while working from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager).
With an easy to follow and relatable storyline, Stick is well casted and produced. Viewers will find the characters to be someone that any middle class or all American family knows or has known. This gives the series a compelling and emotional connection to audiences. Wilson is believable, funny, and easy to empathize with in the role of Pryce Cahill.
The 10-episode season will made its global debut on Apple TV+ with a three episodes debut…available to stream as of today, Wednesday, June 4. New episodes will then release every Wednesday through July 23, 2025.
