“StuGo” lands on Disney Channel tonight bringing unexpected shenanigans & mischief!
Mayhem, mutants, and incredibly gifted kids all collide on an island in Disney’s new animated series StuGo. StuGo is set to premiere on Disney Channel, January 11th at 8:00 PM ET/PT with 2 episodes. StuGo is about six middle schoolers who are tricked into attending a fake summer camp on a tropical island by a mad scientist named Dr. Lullah (Lorraine Toussaint).
This quirky and brilliant bunch find out early that Dr. Lullah is not only a mad scientist with evil projects underway, but she’s also insensitive, witty, and dismissive when it comes to their safety and well being. Not concerned with the kids survival and way more concerned with her sinister schemes and how the intelligent new campers can be beneficial to her plans caused constant chaos and conflict.
The direct and nonchalant ways in which Dr. Lullah expresses her irritation and vexation for the kids when they interact provides a very funny and comical level of entertainment for viewers.
Stuck on this tropical island for three months, these young minds are eager to create, solve, and prove their worth, plus they’re also filled with energy and the need to constantly be stimulated. It’s good that the island is full of surprises and a multitude of unexpected tasks and problems that keep them engaged.
The island is also home to many of Dr. Lullah’s mutants and creatures that wreak havoc on the kids and cause them to be in dangerous, chaotic, and unpredictable situations. Pliny, the optimistic and cheerful leader of the bunch always has a plan or idea for the gang that helps them avoid peril and live to please Dr. Lullah another day.
