“Suits LA” served up a worthwhile and satisfying premiere on NBC!
Suits LA, the new legal drama spinoff of Aaron Korsh's Suits debuted February 23, on NBC. The first episode introduces Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former New York prosecutor who moves to the West Coast to start his own law firm representing some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
Throughout the premiere, Ted struggled with whether to visit his dying father, who only had a few days to live. Eventually, the attorney went to New York to be by his father's side and recalled going to a Yankees game with him and Eddie. All while juggling an impending workplace crisis.
This new spinoff brings all the sharp suits, office rivalries, and high-stakes maneuvering of the original series, but with a sunny LA backdrop. Intriguing, emotional, suave, and intentional, this new series is great. With a dose of health legal drama and competition between attorney’s the premiere episode pulled audiences in while also introducing new characters well while making them both relatable and interesting.
Suits LA stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, Lex Scott Davis as Erica Rollins, Josh McDermitt as Stuart Lane, Bryan Greenberg as Rick Dodsen, and Troy Winbush as Kevin.
New episodes of Suits LA air every Sunday on NBC at 9 p.m. ET/PT and stream the next day on Peacock.
