"Accused" is back tonight on Fox and each episode has a story that will put audiences directly on the stand!
Accused is a crime anthology series where viewers are taken on the journey of the defendant. Each episode opens in a courtroom from the point of view of the accused person, who doesn’t know anything about their crime or how they ended up on trial.
The story unfolds from the defendant's point of view through flashbacks. Accused holds a mirror up to the current times with evocative, engaging, and emotional stories. Viewers discover how an ordinary person can get caught up in an extraordinary situation, ultimately revealing how one wrong turn can lead to another, until it's too late to turn back.
The second season of this crime drama premieres today on October 8, 2024. The series chronicles ordinary people, who face the legal system based on unordinary events or unforeseen circumstances. Viewers are thrust into a courtroom and introduced the accused without knowing their crime or how they ended up on trial. The audience is then told the events that lead them there from the defendant's point of view. After a strong season 1, season 2 is set to follow suit with exciting cases, superb acting and guest stars, along with exhilarating storylines that will keep audiences engaged from beginning to end. The premiere episode had more than 11.3 million viewers and a 2.3 rating among the 18-49 demographic in the three days after its premiere on multi-platforms. It is the highest-rated and most-watched debut on Fox in 3 years.
Each episode opens in a courtroom. The interesting show format is that each episode is a different storyline which creates thought provoking, intense, and often thrilling moments as soon as the episode begins.
A slew or stellar talent will be a part of season 2 such as: Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Michael Chiklis, Taylor Schilling, Justin Chambers, Ken Jeong, Nick Cannon and Danny Pino.
