“The Life List” checks all the right boxes required to be a hit film!
Based on the novel, The Life List by Lori Nelson Spielman. The Netflix film follows Alex (Sophia carson), a young woman who experienced the loss of her mother (Connie Britton) who was taken suddenly by terminal cancer. However, her mother is still with her in the form of video messages she left Alex before her death. In these messages, she asks Alex to check off items from a list of13 goals she wrote as a teenager. With each accomplishment, the family's lawyer Brad (Kyle Allen) presents Alex with a video message from her late mother, narrating her daughter’s journey from the other side. What follows is a journey of risk-taking, self-discovery, and maybe even true love.
