Tyler Perry merges comedy & politics in new series "She The People".
Part 1 of this new series landed today on Netflix.
Creator Tyler Perry and Netflix have just debuted a truly comedic and creative series with their newest comedy, She The People. The series centers on Mississippi Lieutenant Governor candidate Antoinette Dunkerson (Terri J. Vaughn) who wins her election and then realizes her new job will involve a lot more than what she originally signed up for.
The season will be split into two parts, both will be premiering on Netflix at different dates. The first 8 episodes premiered today, May 22, 2025 on Netflix. The second set of 8 episodes will release on August 14, 2025.
